Employee Spotlight: Jacob Henderson, Chief Product Officer

Q: When did you start with membersy, and how has the company grown since you’ve joined?

I started with membersy  in January 2021. Membersy has seen immense growth in the past year. We closed a huge fundraising round, added new board members and worked hard on improving our product offerings. I am excited to see what’s in store for our company in the future.

Q: What are your main responsibilities as Chief Product Officer at membersy?

Ultimately I am responsible for the innovation and advancement of the membersy product offering. This includes the vision and design of new products. In addition to the big picture work, I oversee product management and the marketing of each new product membersy produces.

Q: In your opinion, what are the most important traits and skills for someone working as a Chief Product Officer to have?

Some of the most important traits for someone working in my role are leadership, vision, empathy, and a drive to make things better. However, my ultimate goal is to put the processes in place to allow my team members to succeed at their roles and level up.

Q: What is your favorite part of working at membersy?

In the short time I have been here, I love working with the people in various departments to help bring their ideas to life. On top of that, we are building a platform that will be the future of how dental healthcare is administered so that we can bring more affordable care to individuals across all walks of life.

Q: What is a fact about you that would surprise your coworkers?

“I am an avid sports fan, and my ultimate career goal is to own a professional sports franchise.”
